My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was not ideal; it smelled strongly of smoke, was musty, and the carpet was wet, which made it uncomfortable. On the positive side, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The lack of hot water was a major drawback. The service was a bit of a letdown; it started great but turned rude later on. The location, while convenient for our road trip, was somewhat intimidating for a solo stay. The dining experience was passable, with a standard hotel breakfast, but using only disposable utensils was disappointing. Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs.

The service was mostly friendly, although some staff members were barely audible. The location was great, right in the downtown area, but I found it slightly dirty and unsafe in some areas. Dining options were limited, but the Belgian waffles were a pleasant surprise.
